Simplify Operations With Accuracy and Efficiency
Item Administration - For Non-metallic Substrates using Paper / PET Label Media:
- Print an item label using Operator Printer software for all incoming packages. Operator Printer will:
- Enroll each incoming package to Visium data cloud (that can publish the data into any backend system, upon integration).
- Generate, Print and Encode an item label using: Barcode printers, or RFID printers:
-- Encode the RFID chips as per EPC standards for: Consumables or Raw Materials/ Parts or Assets/ Cartons or Pallets
Item Administration - For Metallic Substrates using hard RFID Tags:
- Attach RFID tag to incoming items (semi-finished goods, parts, etc.)
- For semi-automatic encoding:
- For automatic encoding:
- Use Operator Encoder software to detect and connect to the fixed RFID reader that will be encoding the tag
- Scan or type the serial number or material ID to be encoded in the Operator Encoder
- Operator Encoder will encode the tag and enroll the item in Visium cloud
- Use InThing Trapeze to encode the RFID tag
- InThing Trapeze will enroll the item in Visium cloud
Put-away Inventory:
- Visium Mobile will scan the nearest location marker (barcode or RFID) and the item tag (barcode or RFID) will update the inventory of the items on Visium Cloud in real time
- Fixed RFID / phased-array RFID readers installed as portals for automating put-away of RFID tagged items. The RFID reader reports observations to InThing Trapeze to update the inventory of the items on Visium Cloud.
- Automate:
- Notification to end-user(s) about arrival of materials, shelf-lives, reminders, etc.
- Automatic decommissioning of items and consumables as they move to 'out of use' areas
Pick Operation
- Create a pick-order on Visium data cloud (or on back-end system integrated with Visium)
- Using Visium Mobile use passive RFID handheld reader to locate:
- Items matching the work order line item
- Fulfill the work order by scanning specific items to the line item
Delivery to Receiver
- Get a proof of delivery when the item is left in the recipients’ location by inventorying the items with the location marker
- Automate the delivery notification with RFID portals if the delivery location is an enclosed area
Finished Goods Inventory
- For a shelf-level location accuracy of RFID tagged items:
- For a zone-level location accuracy of RFID tagged items:
- For an aisle level location accuracy of RFID tagged items:
- Use handheld RFID readers with an Android mobile device running Visium Mobile which will update the inventory of the items along with the shelf-level location reference to Visium cloud
- Use phased-array readers or arrays of antennas connected to fixed readers connected to InThing Trapeze, by assigning a location to each reader and antenna
- InThing Trapeze will update the inventory of items along with the zone-level location reference to Visium cloud
- Use RFID readers with forklifts, pellet-jacks, AGVs or,
- RFID readers will report the inventory of items, without an aisle-level location reference, to InThing Trapeze that, in turn, will update the location of the items on Visium cloud
